I just got my new 1500$ laptop, and I was thinking of downloading the micromacro rom bot on it. Is the rom-bot safe for the computer or might it make my computer slower or harm it in somehow? I am not gonna bot for days in a row just simple 1-2h a day. Wont it hurt my new computer anyhow?
Thanks!
can botting harm your computer?
Re: can botting harm your computer?
I shouldn't think so. If you can run the game for a few hours safely then you can probably run the bot for a few hours too. The only issue I can think of is if you run too many clients and bots at the same time and it overheats. Shouldn't be a problem if your computer is new and you keep it well ventilated. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if your laptop has some sort of cut off switch that saves it from getting damage from overheating.

Re: can botting harm your computer?
No, MicroMacro does not make any changes to your computer. While it is running, it'll require resources such as CPU time and memory (as all programs do), but once you close it nothing remains behind. I have taken extra care to ensure that MicroMacro will not dig into places it does not belong and have limited the scope of what is accessible to try and prevent the scripts you run from harming your computer. Of course, I had to keep a well balance so that the power of what you are capable of doing is not hindered. If you are concerned, open config.lua and change allowSystemCommands to false.
Other softwares may rely on shady practices (strange drivers, hooks, weird registry changes, etc.) so it is possible that those could cause some issues.

Re: can botting harm your computer?
keep in mind laptops tend to run hotter than desktop PC's, so running it for 1-2 days straight could actually be bad for the laptop but not from botting, it would be like if you had a movie on repeat and ran it for days straight.
