Gm monitor

I don't think my GM monitor works i downloaded v 3 and charnamed my other character and whispered from a different zone and nothing happened. Plus always gives me an error for the alarm.wav not being able to load

well i think its just my eventmonitor doesn't work. I tested it thru the wp from that link and all it does is LOL but no "event monitor is working fine" does this function no longer work?

edit : srry it works fine if im nearby but still no working eventmonitor

i think i remember downloading a RoM addon a long time ago that would do event monitor type things forgot what it exactly did but it was to replace what the game took out... hmmm maybe it was for the rombot? i dunno im gonna go look for it again.

Specifically check you have the addon d303fix

If you don't currently have an addon to give the os.time() function in game then you will need an addon like d303fix

oh yeah i think i remeber reading that some time back when i was messing with it. I uninstalled it b/c i didn't like taking a 3.5mb screenshot everytime i logged in. So it only works with d303fix? i think there were a few that did the same thing. so i was eventually going to try to modify one into the other b/c i think one got os.time() or similar from using the item shop daily item time counter or something. jeez so difficult

ok i found another addon and tried it and eventmonitor now works ty

BTW it was called __-_Fix_for_patch303-150 and it was specifically tailored for os.time at least it works without taking a bleeping screenshot.

d303fix doesn't take a screenshot, well mine doesn't.

The screenshot is an option that can be enabled/disabled. I used to just use item shop specials but on occation there were no items on special. On those occations it couldn't get the time. So I enabled the screenshot and now it only uses the screenshot if the item shop specials doesn't work.

There is a benefit to the screenshots over the item shop specials. With the item shop specials, you have to set the offset of your time to the server. This is fine, but if you play on more than one server with different time zones, you can only set the offset to one servers time. The screenshot will give you the right time regardless which server you are playing.
