File or Directory not found

Hello,
Im new to this but i think i figured most of the things out on the bot. When i go in to MM i type in rom/bot. Then i press delete button. After that i type in profile:(the name of my char).xml . But then it says that the file or directory is not found. I dont know whats wrong, my profile is in the profile folder.

No that's not right.
1. You type rom/bot in the mm window.
2. Then you press DELETE.
3. Then rombot will try to load a profile that matches the name of your character. If one doesn't exist it will say something like "We can't find your profile 'charname.xml'." If it does exist then it will load it and show you a list of waypoint files to choose from.
4. You select a waypoint file from the list.

If you want to use a profile that doesn't make your characters name like the default profile, use;

I'm not sure what is happening with you. Try copying and pasting the output of the mm window.

Do you not get that you must input a Number when the list of waypoints appears?

the waypoints are numbered and all that is asked of you is to input a number!

Do you see the list of waypoints(in dark green) ?

i looked around and i saw sum1's ss with the numbers and waypoints.. it doesnt show for meh o.o did i skip a step?

As I said, paste a copy of your mm window here and maybe I can figure out what you are doing wrong.

Looks like there is an error in your profile. Possible you used a '<' sign in an 'if' statement. Paste a copy of your profile too and I'll have a look at it.

What's with the images? Don't you know how to copy and paste? All that does is make it harder to help you and it's against the forum rules.

Luckily the problem was obvious. You need to close each line of the skills like the first 2.

If you have any more problems copy and paste your profile so I can look at it properly.

We can see from images but like me if i check code i paste it to notepad++ and select coding so it highlights it and i can see easier if there is error on closing. And its easier to read from it. Or you just could paste inside code block. Just paste your code to text area, select it and select code button when writing message here.

I mean each skill line should start with '<skill' and end with '/>' like your first 2 skills.

Also each block of info should start with an open tag and end with an end tag
eg.

And the whole file should start with a profile open tag

thx rock5 it works now.. i still got 3 questions if u can answer.

i bot at swallow walker

1. u know how theres is like two spawns, one by great barrier gates and one by the dailies... is there a way to bot at the great barrier spawns then mount and go to the spawns around the dailies?

2. for the place in profile where you put what monster to attack, i put swallow walkers but it still attack hunters?

3. and when i get to the waypoint it stands and then turns to the direction of my next waypoint and then walks there, is there a way to change it so it doesnt look like i bot..?

Because people group to do dailies there, I would suggest not doing them. A lot of those players also kill the swallows as they pass so they would always be seeing you. Also they will get annoyed when you occasionally kill the hunters when you are not in the group. Deathtouch Iguanas might be a better choice.

1. You can, but you would probably have to temporarily set the waypoint type to 'travel' but when you reach the top of the hill the hunters would probably catch up with you and you would have to kill them anyway.

2. It shouldn't attack the hunters unless you get to close and they aggro you which would be unavoidable when heading up the hill.

3. Turn quick turn on. I agree with you, it looks more like it is botting when quick turn is off.
