Step 2. Start it and open "Runes of Magic/fdb/interface.fdb".
Step 3. Navigate to "interface\worldmap" and explore the folders.
Step 4. Right click the file or folders you want to extract and extract to somewhere such as you desktop.
Step 5. Find a program that opens dds files. The files are in dds format and in 12 peices per map. I have Nero Photosnap Viewer that came with Nero that opens the files. I just tried Windows Photo Viewer, it didn't work. If your system can't open them try doing a search online for what can open them.

No, I'm not sure. I only said "look in fdb" because everything else we've used has been in there; the language files, the house models that we changed, the maps that that map addon uses, the loginxml files, etc. I don't think I ever noticed wdb folder before.
Luckily most things are named logically. If the name of the files in that folder sound like what you would expect of 3D "Mesh Terrain" then maybe that is where they are. Like I said, I don't know about 3D stuff.
