why not use a key thats safe, like, i dunno, tab maybe?

Nearly every key on the keyboard is used by the game. There is no real safe key. Tab is certainly not safe as I use it to target the mobs. Maybe there was a better choice than shift but what's a good choice for 1 person might not be for another.
In the end that's why I made it possible for the user to set their own triggerkey.
