Is that the game crashing or the bot crashing?

bot will error if client crashes 100% of the time.

Unfortunately the bot can't stop the client from crashing, you can try a few things to avoid client crashes.

1. Increase system cache
2. Try a memory cleaner, I have been testing one called clean mem for the last couple of days. Another forum user posted about it =)
3. turn off any junk in background you don't need, all those little icons on the bottom right of your screen are taking up valuable PC resources.

I always hear about people crashing, especially during seige war. I run several clients on same PC in seige and never crash, so not sure what causes it as I can't even test for it lol

I've done all these before ofc...
all is clean
i use 2 clients
both at Low video settings :P
1st is at 270-300k its for the party invite.
2nd is at 1.000.000 its the botter
RAM 3300 Total 2700 used
i'm using "System Mechanic" to clean junks and the other defrags.
i think i just need to reboot my PC cuz its weeks and weeks open.
Thanks you btw.. so its clearly client error and can not fixed from bot.

If your client crashed then you got the error because the client crashed.

We have had 2 maintences were 1 patch has been installed but the bor revision hasn't been updated after those 2 maintences. And thats what i think causing the bot to crash. I got the exact same problem, and i can tell its not something with resources like mem and something. got 16gm ram. Before the 2 maintences my bots ran fine, but after the clients would crash after maybe 6-8 hours. I know that is has something to do with memories, but i dont know how to finde those who have changed.
I got this error on 1 of the bots, rest of them got the same error as up, and some doesn't even write a error.

error: Micromacro/scripts/rom/classes/pawn.lua:235 attempt to perform arithmetic on field `Address` (a nil value)

so i guess revision 644 has to be updated

if the game (client) is crashing after 6-8 hours it's not because of the bot.

If you were crashing when trying to use swimhack then for sure it would be an issue with an address not being right but after 6 hours of running without an issue and then the client crashing, I can't see how the bot can cause that.

but other things may have also changed at the same time, character equipment, higher traffic in area you bot, pc might have started an unassociasted issue same time.

On the other side of the coin they may have implemented a "fix" for crashes and in true rom fashion made it worse.

the point is there is no way to know for sure unless you test every possibility.

I personally very rarely crash, pretty much only time I crash is if I have 5+ clients same PC with 3+ of them botting and also changing zones often. So very hard for me to test for the cause of your problem because I don't experience it myself.

i understand. I got 8 bots running miller's ranch. And before the little patch they could run for days without a crash. And now i happens after 6-8 hours. Not all bots crashes at the same time, so cant be the internet connection.

If you are getting a lot of client crashes maybe you should take it up with RoM support.

I clear my memory with this:

Create a shortcut and put this in target :

Code: Select all

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

Haven't tried it but from what I read online it looks likes it's something that happens anyway.

What effect does running it have?
