SavedVariables Directory

Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the directory that addon/character settings get saved in? Playing between different servers while having the same name can really screw up the other (changing macro's, action bars etc).

Just after a way to change it from /users/documents/runes of magic to some other directory.

I remember reading something about how to do this but couldn't find it when you posted but I came across it again today. Here is a link with a few options to try.
