Learning by reading

Hello everybody
So i have started to do my own scripts easy scripts that maybe can do everybody after some time of reading and i hate to spend my time for spaming request for help,cause i think i could use my time better by learning it .
So my request is that i want to get much more information and knowledge of the bot.
I want to start doing myself like userfunctions and more complex scripts.
Maybe you guys can help me where i have to start to learn step by step.
Maybe you got some guides,websites,tips or something that can help get better with this.

As for reading.

bot is written in LUA so first port of call is the lua reference manual

Next would be the actual in game functions which can be very handy

Then of course there is the rombot Wiki but unfortunately the info in it is mostly outdated.

To really get to the guts of writting your own code though checking out existing code is always handy, userfunction section is best place for that.
