NOTICE TO PEOPLE HAVING PROBLEMS RUNNING THE BOT

First I shall say this. I am in no way one of the programmers, coders, administrators or moderators. This does not mean that what I write below is bad advice, false information or that I'm someone you should ignore. These people were not only kind enough to make this fine program and all the scripts available to everyone, but they are busy trying to work out bugs and problems due to the release of chapter IV. Every moment they have to constantly repeat themselves answering the same questions over and over is taking time away from them completing their work.

Here's some tips.

1) Search the forum using either the built in search function or go to google.com and use "site:solarstrike.net SearchTermHere" (without quotes)

2) If, for some reason, you are not getting any matches to your problem with the searches, read through ALL the posts and replies in the following thread:

3) If you still have not found a solution, follow these steps:
a) List your MicroMacro and RoMBot versions
b) Describe how you updated MicroMacro and RoMBot exactly
c) Explain the problem as descriptively as you can
d) Describe how you are running the bot. Are you executing micromacro.exe, using a batch file, etc. If running a batch file, include the contents of the batch file commands.
e) Explain how you have tried fixing the problem

If it is obvious that you have not even tried to find a solution before posting then you may or may not receive an answer. If you are not going to take the time to try, I don't think the people trying to work on problems should have to take time out and answer questions that have already been answered time and time again.

that's my opinion anyway, posted links to the same thing maybe 5 times in the last week, getting a bit old when people can't even use search or even look at other topics still on the first page.
