got banned today...

Hello got banned today,

"for using third company progs for automatisated gameplay" (something like that)

Now they are telling that my person (not only my account) is banned for 1 month.

So how could they identfy if I'm using another account ?

MAC of PC ?
PC NAME ?
Does the router have any ID (name ? MAC adress?) ?
or Game ID ?

And still i'm not sure how they recognized.. because i'm farming outside, not on the ranch. Items in the AH ?

Did anyone got detected after get caught while using another character ?

How they detected you is anyones guess, it can be one or more of many things.

As for how to continue playing after a bann, they track IP address and MAC address. If you change both of these you should be able to get back playing again.

Not only router but modem to and dont think you can change only if you are prity good hacker.

You have to go through a proxy.

MAC address is hard coded into the network card.

If you are on wireless, switch to wired or vice versa, this will change you MAC address as they are seperate network cards

You could also try an app called macshift

If all else fails just add a second network card to your pc. In the UK you can get a cheap card from ebuyer.com for about 3GBP
