command to " move ahead for 1 second " ?

Hi all,
i've found many valuable infos here already, but now i got a basic problem..

Whats the code for " move ahead for 1 second " ?
While entering/exiting an instance, it should be the best way to use that. Like you would enter manually..
I tried to set waypoints at the instance portal, but that doesnt work all the time, and i get stuck.

want to do something like:

"fix waypoint"
"move ahead for 1 second"
"wait for loadpaths"
