You mentioned a multi-hack earlier. Is it possible the name of the running game has been changed and could that cause the problem mentioned?

Also, if that is the case I'd say you should use streamline and ditch the multi-hack, no need to change the proccess name when an add-on gets it to work without doing it.

I'm sure there's other Windows 7 users here that know how to get around this.
I'm a Windows 7 user and I don't have permission problems.

Maybe it has something to do with you running mm from the 'users' folder? It has different permissions than the rest of the hard drive.

Try copying it to the root of your drive and run it from there. ie. c:\mic\scripts\etc...

Are you running micromacro as an administrator?

I'm running out of ideas. It could be something related to UAC. Do you have UAC enabled or not? Try turning it on or off (whichever it currently is not set to), and see if that helps.

I recon it's some sort of third party security software, rom hack or system security policy that's blocking the bots access when trying to read the processes. If he has confirmed he has a standard micromacro installation and a standard rombot and the right version game then there has to be something not standard about his system. I can't see how we can figure out what it is.

It was the UAC, i had it turned off, but changed back to normal settings and it worked straight away, thank you all so much for taking the time to help with this :)
