Who can fix UberFlex AutoCombat System?
Hey dudes...
Can somebody fix the addon UberFlex AutoCombat System or just tell my how to fix it by myself?
It works for many updates of RoM, but since the last update it doesn't work any!
Can someone do this?

I don't know if it even can be fixed. It looks like it is unsupported by the creators. What function(s) have changed that cause UberFlex to not work?

Uberflex working, found a new update on EU (British Flag) RoM forums under addons. Just download the file and it picks up right where it left off

Just a small change to OnEvent and it works fine.
...now i only need to find a way to use UberFlex instead of the Skills by using the bot.....dammit 4 weeks offline was too long ...nothing will work anymore and everything has to be fixed! =(

sad,i used UberFlex AutoCombat System too.
if the bot have some code like this that would be better
name="HP_LOW_POTION" value="70" --use a kind of potion

Uberflex was using a bugged timer to fire, the timer has been fiixed,, and Rom does not allow you to use regualar timers to call up skills anymore.. Their goal was to kill addons that auto cast... unfortuately, for now, it seems that they have done a good job cleaning up and the auto-pot, auto-buff and auto-combat addons are dead..
I saw a post in here about possibly useing this as a replacement.. if this could auto follow me, buff and heal me,, and assist in combat... HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE!!!!
I do not have the know how,, only the vision,, and while this would be outside the rules,, I doubt there is anything Rom could do to kill it...
just my thoughts...

Uberflex is permanently dead I think.
The way I understand it, the problem is commands like UseSkill and UseAction will no longer function from ANY, I repeat, ANY triggered event, not just <OnUpdate> anymore. So I don't think there is any way in game, anymore, to automate these things.
As to using rombot as a replacement, I've started a thread about it. Hopefully with a bit of help from the Administrator I'll be able to create it.

My intention is that you'd load it like a waypoint file and you'll be able to start and stop, and issue attack command from in the game. You'd do all the moving and the bot would do all the healing buffing and attacking. Actually there maybe be a solution that incorporates Uberflex itself.

btw, the priesterix follow command still works,, so if bot was auto casting heals and assisting you,, priesterix could take care of keeping it with you. (without ever changing focus window)..

so if the problem with UberFlex is that it needs some event to trigger actions, is it possible to get this event from micromacro.. something like "clock signal" ?

I like what rock5 has created,, very cool.. but i still miss uberflex,,
(I could customize combos more,, search for buffs/debuffs and act accordingly,, (Rombot may allow me to do all those things, but I for one have a pretty basic rombot profile)
I do not think its dead,, if you add this macro (ingame) /script SimpleTimer1_EventHandler()
and spam it, uberflex works perfectly,, we just need rombot to spam that macro several times per second for us..
(While i cannot make it do what I want,, I can see that it should not be that hard for someone with a bit more knowledge than myself) if nothing else,, just have it spam a keyboard key , we can set the rest ingame!!
Is anyone willing to take this on?? or if its really simple,, post a how to... (please be specific with details,, Im STUPID!!)

None of the options need to be changed or have any affect as once it enters the loop no rombot functions will be executed. Also there is no SimpleTimer3_EventHandler(); unless you have a different version than me. Thirdly, triggering the timers like that is quite slow. I would suggest you wouldn't need the delay. Or better yet use acsMacro() which includes logics to decide which timers to trigger and is very fast. This does need a small delay.jurafxp wrote:for working Uberflex:
