Kulech Bones Nest boss effects.

#1 Post by JFK123 »

Hello,

(sorry if it's a wrong forum)

I am looking for a .ros filename of a boss effect in the newest instance, Kulech Bones Next and I wonder if you could help me. 5th boss in all difficulty modes, New Myrmex Queen Balenq, puts that white/light gray shining circles on the floor during her Shetamb Oracle cast. If you do not step out of this field, you get hit for ~80% of your hit points. However, I am unable to see them because of my current model folder (which is 32 MB big, btw). I wonder if there is a way to find the .ros file responsible for this floor effect, so I could delete it from my model folder to properly see the circles without removing the whole folder. I also took a screenshot from a YT clip to show you how said effect looks like.

Thank you for your replies.

There is a programme by microsoft called, process monitor. You can have this running while you do the instance and it basically tells you absolutely every file being accessed, it can take a bit to configure it to only look for things from the game and more specifically the model files but once you have it set you can look at the prints on the programme and the file will be one of them. Atleast you will then have a short list of which it will be.

A programme called Machinima studio can then be used to look at the model files to determine which looks like the white swirl on the ground.

You "could" just use machinima studio and guess which folder the model will be in and look for it that way, culd be very time consuming though.

Pretty much anyone who can tell you the model name would have gone through this process, so you could always learn to do it for yourself =)

Ohh yeah technically this should be in the "RoM general" forum section since it isn't about botting, I'll move it there in a couple of days.
Remember no matter you do in life to always have a little fun while you are at it ;)
