I had a thought about way points, when we create way points we currently have to build the way points, then test them then edit them, or rebuild them ect., to avoid things to get rid of way points that we can get stuck on.
Here is my thought,
We have the functionality to move when we are stuck, so how about expand that to record where we got stuck at and the new path taken by the bot to get around it. Then add to or modify the way point file it is running with the new information.
I know you may be thinking that would be a huge under taking for such a minor thing, but I actually have greater plans for such a function.
Please let me know if it would be possible and point me in the right direction, mean while I will be trying to figure it out. =)

Re: waypoint managment function
Anything is of course possible, the only real question is do you want to put in the effort to make it work.
There is already built into the bot the ability to call your own function at unsticks 3 6 9.
So you could easily add in your function at any other those.
Just create a function with names of unStick3() or unStick6() or unStick9()
example
As for "rewriting" the waypoint, Rock posted a file here which is for removing Y values from a WP but it should atleast give you an idea at how to write a WP from a function.
That should get you started atleast =)

Code: Select all

print(" I have tried to unstick 3 times already, learn to make WP better ")
end
