First, I think you have the wrong version of MicroMacro. Download MicroMacro 1.05 from here: https://solarstrike.net/project/download/44

- Download

rombot_updater.exe

- Copy

rombot_updater.exe

into

micromacro/scripts/rom-bot/

(make a

rom-bot

folder if needed)
- Double-click

rombot_updater.exe

to run it; this will install the latest RoM bot files.
- Run MicroMacro, then enter

rom-bot/bot

at the prompt. It should now work.

I think you've maybe got something wrong with your folder structure. For example, maybe you've got something like

micromacro/scripts/rom-bot/rom-bot/

or something. I don't know.

You can starting fresh. Unpack micromacro again. Take the rombot_updater.exe place it into a New Folder (outside of the micromacro/scripts directory). Run the updater and it should grab all the files for you. In there, you should see

bot.lua

and such. Copy all files from that location and make sure to paste them directly into

micromacro/scripts/rom-bot/

, such that you will have

micromacro/scripts/rom-bot/bot.lua

. You should be good to go now.

I'm having a problem where my game version is no longer recognized on Windows 11. I've already tried reinstalling everything, but nothing works. Does anyone have a solution?

Okay, it was due to a Windows security update (KB5077181). After a system reset, everything worked again.

Il y a t-il moyen de le récupérer autrement ?

It should definitely be creating the

settings.lua

file when you run

rombot_updater.exe

. Perhaps you have some anti-malware software that is misbehaving and removing that file for some reason.

No matter. There's another way to do it. You can just download all of the files from the Github repo: https://github.com/SolarStrike-Software ... master.zip

Unpack that and you can then copy & paste the files into your RoM bot directory, overwritting files.

Effectivement mon antivirus empêche de dézipper, mais justement je le coupe le temps de l"opération. Je tente la seconde méthode juste après la mise à jour hebdomadaire du jeu de ce matin.

non c'est pas lui qui l'a supprimé. l'antivirus m'empechait de dézipper l ensenble. Une fois desactivé, je pouvais le dézipper mais pas de setting.lua dans le dossier

There should be. Something else is removing it, but no idea what that could be.

You can download just that single file from here. Worst-case scenario, you can create a new file named settings.lua and then copy/paste the contents into it.
