Is duping still possible?

Ok i ran into a guy today who was trying to sell some duping services. I did a test that if he is actually legit but to my surprise he did dupe me the stuff i gave him. My question is anyone knows how is done or any clues or something. I surely know there must be a glitch in game code that he is abusing. Any ideas?

It is possible on both official and private. It's a glitch but i can dupe anything really

I just want to make it clear that I don't support nor want to promote the selling of dupe services. I obviously can't stop you guys from whatever you want to do in private, but this isn't the place to be getting in touch with people that are trying to sell any such service.
