Hi,

I'll just start by saying that this is a extraordinary piece of software and it's the main reason I haven't leave RoM yet. I have more that 30 chars, from level 30 upwards and have tried almost every combination. All that thanks to this little bot. Thank you very much.

Anyway, for the first time I've came to a problem running the software and can't find the solution.

I started the bot, all updated, including the ingamefuction, and get this error:

IGF:[string "?"]:116: attempt to perform arithmetic on fiel 'offset' (a nil value)


Already Updated the SVN, run Rom/update and fixadresses, even updated the micromacro and nothing.

I'm completely stuck, any thoughts?

There is no "offset" on line 116 of igf.

Check that you don't have any conflicting files and that all the icons next to the files are green (or blue for non versioned files).

If everything seems right then check that you haven't accidentally copied a previous version of the ingamefunctions to another folder in the addons folder.

Everything works on another pc, with the same specs and configuration, and I use a Dropbox account to synchronize the micromacro folder.

I copied the addons folder, so everything is the same.

The only difference is that this is a new installation of the runes of magic client (the other is the old slim client and this is the full). Can this make a difference?

It's very hard to debug because that is an in game error. My guess is some RoMScript command is causing that error in game. Seeing as your scripts are the same I'd say the most likely problem is with an addon. Did you copy all your addons across as well?

Something that might provide more information is, the next time you get the error, open the client macros and see what is in the command macro.

Did you also update the RoM "Interface\AddOns\ingamefunctions" on your second PC? Synchronizing the micromacro folder will only update the copy in "devtools\ingamefunctions". But you need to update the folder below addons manually. I had a similar problem just recently.

From your screenshot, I can see that you are using micromacro V1.02 beta 1. I think the current version is V1.02 beta 4 (don't know if this might be a problem too).

I'm using more than 30 addons, and using the well known scientific method of take one addon out and try again (in alphabetic order)... well I found it...it's the addon PBinfo.

It has been updated recently, if I recall correctly, and it's the one giving all the errors, and without it the error is gone. So...I'm gone with it


Go figure why it works on one computer and not on the other.

Didn't notice this!!

It's working normally now, so the Pbinfo was the problem, but is this Beta 4 better? can it influence the bot or the usage?
