I'm trying to make an addon like auto Feint. Where I automatically cast a spell when I recieve a certain buff. Is this possible thru the regular addon making process or do I require the use of the rom bot? I read that CastSpellByName does not function anymore without a keypress or mousclick. Is there a way around this process by making frames and auto clicking the frame? How does the rombot cast spells? Is it through direct memory editing or a mouseclick process?

Basically Is the only way to setup an auto cast it thru micro macro spamming a keybind on my action bar. And have that run CastSpellByName?

I was kind of hoping I can write something that would not require the use of MM if that is at all possible.

I remember when they removed CastSpellByName and cast but the addon ExtraActionBars was still able to use them through some sort of Frames.

BTW can Rombot work now with ExtraActionBars v3.02?

Extra action bars removes the direct input of key presses from the game (for monitoring purposes) and converts them into the in game functions that the keypress would have done.
So I seriously doubt the addon will work with rombot because rombot wants to directly input keypresses, if we wanted to do the in game functions we would use them ourselves.

IMHO: Any Addon that monitors keypresses can't be a good thing, after all addons are loaded before you even enter your account/password, think about that lol

Running OK with EAB, though I'm not using any of its buttons on my bottoons.
