You can buy items from the shop or from the pet hunter merchant that will convert the training points into talent points (enhancement potion) or convert training points into aptitude (awakening potion). You can spend the talent points to boost various talents such as increase crit rate or drop luck. Aptitude equates to a better return on pet attributes.
