Hey I'm sure the people that play RoM still are kinda bored with the dead servers. I no I am LOL! I play on Grimdal and I noticed some people talking about how they private servers are doing great! How do you play on a private server? Is there a seperate client that you have to download? & does it interfere with the original game? Can someone help me out? TY!!!!!

I've been playing on rom4u server. It does interfere with logging into the authentic servers. So you will need to copy the folder to another location and run a patch type program that modifies it to log into the new server and get updates from it. Then it's just a matter of running the clientupdate.

The only interaction between the 2 versions is they will both use the same 'Runes of Magic' folder in your documents to save settings.
