So, has anyone come up with a fast way to talk to the frogs(Alt+1 and Alt+2 are the additional randomized skills) for the 30 minutes you need to collect the frog sincerity and the frog tears? It is possible to sit between 2 frogs to collect the items. Also, has anyone come up with a way to use the resulting charms to gather the herbs? It seems the use of these herbs on my server has just picked up steam and the herbs and also the ribbons from the event are being sold for quite the pretty coin as they are unbound.

Last year the rewards for getting the tickets were pretty good, so I can imagine people trying to get more tickets this year.

I haven't looked at any of the event things at this stage, I just make sure to log in for the freebies =)

Well, the results for this particular event are a perm mount that looks like a flame version of Paicha from RT, it's a 2 seater that has a riding speed of 65%. Cannot be colored which is a down side, but the most tedious part, the talking to the frogs and the talking to the 3 NPC's to get the herbs have almost put me to sleep twice. You need 189 total herbs and 93 ribbons and 93 transmuter charges(on the character you intend to put the mount on as items become bound after charging) to get the perm mount. The ribbons and herbs are NOT bound, but only become bound after charging them. It's a nice way to make money off lazy people. Mount looks like this, but red/orange.

You get a free buff per day at the guy next to Owenstein on Varanas Bridge. Turns out the event takes 1 TP rune each time you want to do it over. Every 3 hours you'll hear about an event going on at the Lake of Magic Mist in Silverspring. Something about a tornado and frogs falling from the sky. Well when you hear that it gives a 5 minute warning for you to get there and all hell breaks loose.

Two tornadoes will appear in front of you from which hundreds of frogs fall. Be there with your buff when it starts. The 7 day buff will turn into a 2 minute frog buff which will automatically qualify you to get 3 ribbons when you turn in the quest.

You want to treat the falling frogs like sigils that you see on the ground, the kind that buff you for increased attack, defense etc. So the first to touch them gets the buff or in this case points. If you do this on an alt you do not need points. The only thing extra points will get you is Phirius shells. For this event it is all about speed.

You'd probably want to make a couple lvl 10 alts cause you can get 15 free TP runes and 4 marking ink each from the noob gift bags. Just take them to the spot on the bridge and to the island at the lake and mark both spots. Make sure they have the free buff to start with and that Silverspring snoop is their recall location. You'll have enough TP runes to take them back and forth but not enough to get back for the final turn in and taking them to the snoop is much easier. Then leave them parked at the lake.

When the event starts just make sure they have the 2 minute frog buff, port them to the bridge to get the ribbons, and use another TP rune for another 7 day buff. Then port them back to the lake. Do it again until your TP runes are all gone. You DO have to wait until the 2 min buff wears off to claim your prize and start over tho.

Keep in mind that the ribbons are NOT bound until you combine them with the herbs in the transmuter. So you have to use charges on the account you plan to get the mount on.

I started doing this and have a few questions. I'm botting the herbs easy enough.
1. When does the event finish?
2. You say you automatically get 3 ribbons when you turn in the quest. What do you have to do to complete the quest? You say "points" don't matter? So what do you have to do for the ribbons?
3. So you can repeat the quest? Go to the NPC, get the buff, and back to the island. How much time does the tornado last?

1. This is part of the anniversary, so I assume when the anniversary ends.

2. Yes, when you get the 7 day buff fro the NPC at the bridge you report to the island at the lake of Magic Mist to get points from the frogs falling from the sky.

Blue Robed King Frogs (crowns on head) -- 10 points.
Red Frogs -- 5 points.
Green Blue and Dark Brown Frogs -- 1-3 points (randomly).
Frogs with (!) over their head -- Allows you to steal 1-5 points randomly from whoever is closest to you.
Frogs with (√) over their head -- Allows someone to steal from you (I think, this needs to be double checked).
Frogs with (Zzz) -- will send you running in fear.

The moment you enter the tornado area your 7 day buff will turn into a 2 minute buff (assuming you do not get a chance to get there while the tornado is in effect the buff will last 7 days or until you remember to use it), but then once used one time it converts into the 2 minute buff. The more points you earn the more the more Phirius shells you earn. I took an alt there and the first round she got 18 points and got a small Phirius package(3 shells, same as from mini games). Next round I got 80 points and got a Medium Phirius Packge(5 shells). Since I doubt anyone will really be using those shells or lvling a lvl 10 alt to 50 to use 5 extra shells, points are a waste on alts. In this case you'd only need to be sure you've obtained the 2 minute buff (looks like a green frog) and return to the bridge to wait for the 2 minute buff to wear off. When it does you can turn in the quest, or points if you happen to have any for a prize. Participation and getting the 2 min buff gets you 3 ribbons automatically, so if you can multi client this you can have as many instances of this going on at once as you wish just porting the alts back and forth.

3. Yes you can repeat the quest for as many teleport runes as you have. The tornado lasts 20 minutes.

2. Thanks, that clears it up. The one thing I wasn't sure about is if you needed any frogs. That's clear now.
3. I figured that out when I tried it before.

The 2 minute wait is going to be a wast of time. I'll have to see if I can multibot it. Or maybe multiclient but manually.

One last question. If you get the 2m buff do you have to turn it in within the 20m or can you do it later? Or for that matter, can you log off then log back in later to turn it in?

Just before I go to bed, just thought I'd let you know I got the mount. Thanks for the info on this post. I saw on the eu web site that the event ends on the 25th. Not 100% sure if it applies to the rom4u server but I made the effort to hurry up and get the last 10 ribbons and get the mount just to be sure.

If you consider the amount of trasnsmutor charges needed to get this mount.
And the price is 1 charge= 1 dias.
Then this mount is expensive

but looks cool.

Not really. When you consider that you have to use 1 ribbon with every transmutor use then that's 93 charges. You are not going to get a 2 seater mount for 93 dias. Also consider you can get charges for less if you buy them in bulk, so even cheaper. But I never buy charges so it still seems free to me.

Managed to get my 5 accounts botting the ribbons today. They are running at this moment. Maybe I'll end up with mounts for a few more of my characters by the end of the day.
