Just need a little info on multibotting :

Already installed rombot, configured like i want (for now lol). Took care of static IP address and VPN as a precautionary, and set up bank characters as well as farmer characters. Trying to get everything ready to see how the multibotting works, however I wanted to ask some advice from you multibotters out there :

1. Will I need additional software to open say up to 4 clients at one time?
2. Will I need virtual desktop's in order to run rombot x4 at once?

Trying to do my homework here beforehand, so that its ready to rip and roll and play around with asap

no additional software needed, your pc performance is the only thing that will restrict number of clients you can have.

If you have win7 you might need to play with admin settings for the client.exe file.

Excited to try this out hopefully this evening^^

Tested the limits this morning, and wanted to report back how it worked out :

1. 2 running 1-10 pioneers (different start times and waypoints)
2. 1 running silverspring wp
3. 2 running elven starting area (dfferent start times + waypoints)
4. 2 eggers rolling in different cities
5. 1 custom wp for dragonfang

Zero GM detections in about 3 hours of trying it out :

So 8! Hot I had it cranked up on full settings, and my rig started dragging about client 4, so lowered them all to lowest setting and forced them into a lower resolution and it bumped right along. Can't imagine needing 8 for anything, but I wanted to test the water to see what was possible, and I'm very surprised. Incredibly fun just tabbing over to watch them all do their thing

One thing I wanted to ask here too as a precaution :

On your GM detection function lisa, will it need to be configured other than responses manually? I've got it set now with custom responses, but the rest I just plugged in for the most part. I did set it manually to GM detect=true. Also, would it be possible to manually set it to delay a response for a few seconds, so as to seem like it took a moment to write a response back to the GM (may already be, not terribly sure).

Otherwise, im amazed at how well it can handle clients and how well this morning went. Really appreciate the help this far lisa, ty ty . Now to fine tune it to run what I need and make more custom wp's, and hopefully running say 4 at a time will be fairly safe given they all are on diff areas and unique waypoints. Thanks again!

There will be a random delay as such between receiving the whisper and responding.
The monitoring is done every 5 seconds, and then it does an in game function to check the details of the whisperer. So you could have a delay anywhere from 1 second to 6 seconds before replying with a whisper.

I probably should should have looked at adding a pause before the reply to make it seem like the "player" typed out the message.
