any ides for a "duelhack" type teleport function?

hi, people!

in romeo multihack there is a function to teleport behind the targeted item/player/npc/enemy
i often use it to skip some dangerous mobs, but that program hogs down my cpu and sometimes makes my game crash.

if anyone has an idea/tip how to make my character use the teleport userfunction to teleport BEHIND the targeted item, it would be awesome :)
it would also help me use blind spot on bosses when i farm with trusted friends.

a cool extra would be to set how far behind a mob should i teleport myself, but hey, any ideas are appreciated.

Do you mean behind as in opposite to the direction the mob is facing? If so we can't do that. It would require knowing which way the bot is facing and the bot doesn't save that information.

Edit: Actually direction is saved for player but not for pawn. If it was saved for pawn, it could be done but I'm not in the mood to wrap my mind around the math neccessary. Sorry.

nah it's no good for mobs as they will instantly turn to face you.

Do mobs instantly turn to face you if you are not in combat?

yup, try it by standing on top of a mob and then moving through them and they spin instantly, then step through them again.
They constantly keep facing you no matter where you go.

But thats when they aggro you. You can walk right up behind a mob and it wont turn until it aggros you. If you don't have a mob aggro and you teleport behind it, it shouldn't turn unless it aggros.

yeah you could do it before you get aggro but you will literally get in 1 hit and thats all, mob will instantly turn and face you as soon as you attack.

Only real benefit for doing this would be for dueling other players and I don't intend to spend the time making this just so people can beat another player in a duel by using a cheat lol

hehe, nice conversation :))

i actually use it to get past some mobs. and when i am in "hide" ( am a rogue), i teleport myself behind the mob, and then go on with my way.
this does not work on duels either, most skills player are instant, and if you have click to move activated, you will turn around anyway.

only thing this is useful, is as a targeted teleport without the need to add waypoints, and if you can manage to tele behind a mob, there is a chance to not aggro it and can go further.
also i sometimes use it for my characters, they attach themselves to my char in instances, and they can follow me more precisely, without needlessly aggroing every mob. there ARE uses. and that does not include cheating in duels.

well, i will try to find a way, since i don't feel like using romeo hack for a trivial thing like this, that program is making my game crash a lot.

or i will continue using reomeo's multihack. too bad the source code is not public, i would try to implement it into a userfunction

thanks anyway.

this is true, and this is in fact a cool thing. when you are too close to a mob (try it in a longer fight), they constantly are backing up (they turn around, move away a couple of steps, and turn back to you), and hit way less on you. so you can "herd" the mob to move back from you to attack while killing it. i use this on many boss solo fights
