I wonder if it is possible to make some files optional by default in the SVN?
My idea was to maintain these files (addons) in the SVN folder (userfunctions) but made optional by default, so people only download these if they specifically request that. By default the bot wouldn't include these, though it would be available!

That's not quite how SVN works. Nor how it should be used. And if we did, that means all people that submit addons would have the power to delete or modify any other file however they please.

True but the wiki also workes a bit like that. Anyway dismiss this thread completely then!
