Does anyone here have a machine like this:
QuadCore i7-870
8gb ddr3
ATi Radeon HD 5670, 1 GB

or similiar?

because i think about buying one for the purpose of botting 24/7
but i need to know how many clients it can handle,
now i have much slower machine and it runs 10 clients well, the above machine seems to be about2,5-3 times better, and im curious if it will handle 25-30 clients at once or not

any help appreciated ;P

buying a new highend pc only for the purpose of botting 24/7 is the most stupid thing i ever heared of!

And a calculation like "the new machine is 2.5-3x better..." is crap too.

I think this machine could handle moar. If u know what ure doing and set it up correctly it should not have a problem with 20 clients using proper settings. But the main factor will be how stable the machine runs on heavy load. If u fuck up the OS installation u wont get that much more clients running.

But allinall, as i said, most stupid idea ever

running scripts on couple serwers for gold farming to be honest...
i never though of that, was botting only for my ingame gain, but i saw an opportunity to earn some cash in RL and think of it...
lets just say i want to "bot" myself a new machine ;P
installing OS is not a problem for me, and dont think i could f*ck it up to be honest
also my calculation is like that because i have dual core will less speed, half the ram (in ddr2 800) and also some not high end graphics... i can run on my setup 10 clients stable, if i could run 20+ clients on new machine it would be enough for me

i see... well, then i have to warn you.

goldsellers are banned on rom, frogster even got it to court, and they won.

im running on EU serveres, and havent yet heard of any bans that even are close to what i want to do
i wont be a gold selling spammer, i have an offer in RL to buy some sort of thing in rom and i belive i could easily handel it but i need planty of clients running for about a month in my calculations

who from you wouldnt do it month of farming for a new high end machine

if you start "commercial botting" you ''ll be fast detected as Goldseller, because Frogster is highly working on destroying the Goldseller-Rings...

what ur doing is considered stealing.

it's like w/ MP3 songs, if you download them off the net for personal use, it may be illegal but it ain't so bad, but if you do it to to burn cds/dvds and sell them on the market or host an mp3 selling place on the web you're just stealing form the artists, like you're stealing frogster!

i am running smoothly 11 client 2x of them in the same are leveling and gaing exp 10x egg farmers

and my guild members getting free millers cake from me aswell:)

Sorry but hwo do you farm eggs? like Cavy eggs? or you mean the ranch chicken eggs?

ranch eggs of curse... no only need cavys anymore.. its far to easy to encounter them randomly
