Does anyone here have an addon to save chat log to a file?

I don't but I suspect that given the amount of Chat add-ons you find on the net, one will have a similar function. Then just look up its code!

BTW: this is a rom-bot forum, not an add-ons one but it's the though that counts right?

havent found one that suits me, and yes its a rombot forum, but still theres and addon topic here, and i though one to save logs to a file would be nice, f/e to see who said something to us while botting, or f/e to see who wants to buy things that we have hidden ;P

Ah, well, you should have described this was on a botting context! Have you seen rom-bot API function list? check my signature for the link and search for chat related functions, there might be something useful there. I can't really say because I haven't explored bot chatting myself.
