Announcement - Maintenance

#1 Post by Administrator » Mon Sep 14, 2009 10:45 am

The game server will be down for over 24 hours (as you already know). Once it comes back up, do not expect the bot to work right away. Even after running the update script, much will be changed and there most likely will be an assortment of memory read errors. Do not panic.

It will take approximately a day or so to make all of the necessary updates to get the bot to be functional again. Please do not make any posts on the forum requesting fixes; We're already quite well aware of what needs to be done and will be working on it. If, however, you still experience problems after we make an update for this version, please report it here on the forums.

Thanks.

News:
  • New version compatible with 2.1.0.1185 is available off SVN.
    r263: Druid & Warden support is going well. Warden skills have been added (1)
Notes:
  • (1) Do not use summons or summon-based skills. They aren't working yet.

Are the new classes already implemented? Haven't been playing for a while.

I just committed some updates to SVN. This should resolve most of the problems with the newest patch (1885). I need people to test it before making an official release.

Already have. The current status is that we are testing. All (or at least most) addresses and offsets have been updated. There's been only 1 report of a memory read problem, but I am unable to reproduce it.

The SVN doesn't work with my runedancer (Only class I actually tested it with), it only keeps rotating the camera in a circle, while the output is telling me its moving to a specific point. On top of that it's using HP potions everytime the potion buff runs out.

I'm not so sure about the potion thing. Can you post your profile?

I assume your problem with movement is due to settings.xml being broken/invalid. When you start, does it say it's loading bindings.txt, or using settings.xml?

You have added druid skills... but no warden.. and the bot gives this... when i try to start it.

Code: Select all

RoM Bot Version 2.46
RoM windows size is 1354x702, upper left corner at 6,29
ERROR: 'WARDEN_THORNY_VINE' is not defined in the database!

+ should we wait for warden pet support options? Like summonig pet after dying.. or healing it.. etc :D

Warden skills have been added, but summons aren't working yet. You *might* be able to get by temporarily by setting the cooldown for summon skills to something like 300 (resummon every 5 minutes). Any summon-based skills do not work, either.

Where is the newest version with the warden skills? I have gone to the main page but it is the same version as what I already have. Is the new one still being tested before release?
when I did try to run the bot after the patch the only error I got was...

...classes\pawn.lua:173:bad argument #1 to 'bitAnd' <<null>>

what do i need to do to fix this issue??

I'm using the default profile (I just want the bot to wander and only meele attack things anyway). The movement seems to work, since sometimes it makes steps forward. The always-use-hp-potions error is probably because a wrong value of HP is being loaded, when I put it to 0% then it stops using HP potions.

And yes, It it's loading the bindings.txt. But it does that everytime I would use the SVN version. I haven't touched the settings.xml, and I don't want it to read the bindings.txt either.

I got the error aswell after updating now from the SVN. The bot doesn't even get to load the profile.

For the potion problem, try opening rom/classes/player.lua, and go to line 334.

Directly above this:

Code: Select all

	-- If we need to use a health potion
	if( (self.HP/self.MaxHP*100) < settings.profile.options.HP_LOW_POTION ) then
Add this:

Code: Select all

	printf("hppercent: %s\n", self.HP/self.MaxHP*100);
	printf("usepercent: %s\n", settings.profile.options.HP_LOW_POTION);
What does it display when it's using potions for no apparent reason?

3cmSailorfuku: zip up your whole micromacro folder (containing the rom scripts as-is) and e-mail it to admin @ solarstrike.net for examination.

Yes, someone will need to update it to allow for these new skills and classes. As of right now, there isn't a new version of it available.
