"Mind Control" debuff - 2nd DOD Boss

I imagine if I wasn't soloing, someone could remove the debuff with a cleanse magic spell or something like that, but I AM soloing. Is there anything I can do other than hope I kill him before he casts it? Perhaps some sort of cleanse pot that I'm not aware of... if you can even use pots when affected?
