Should MicroMacro come with an installer?

#1 Post by Administrator » Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:40 pm

I'd be interested to see what you guys think. Some people don't quite like to read/follow instructions and can't figure out what to do with .rar or .zip files. On the other hand, simply extracting the folder expresses MicroMacro's modularity and simplicity.

I do not think, that an installer would make it better. What is the point of
unpacking an archive to a directory? If they cannot do this, they will even
not succeed in running a script afterwards.

People who don't know how to extract a .rar or .zip probably shouldn't be catered for, considering there's a slight degree of basic computer knowledge for the running of the micromacro scripts so...It will essentially just cause more work for the forum people hear...having to answer basic questions...and also most likely questions that have already been answered...lol

But yea...just my opinion, not that anybody gives a stuff...
24 hours in a day
24 beers in a slab

coincidence? I THINK NOT
