"Path of Exile" Bot

#1 Post by Starrider » Tue Feb 12, 2013 5:50 am

hello, I have an other question, a new game star is coming up, its "Path of Exile", better then Diablo 3, Free2Play.
monsterful skill tree etc.
Only micro-transactions for visuals. Its the secret tip for Diablo 2/3, Dungeon Siege 2 Players.

Will this game be supported in future?

One thing that struck me as interesting in the trailer is it said it had random levels for re-playability. That's an interesting idea for an online game. I can just imagine it, every time you go into an instance the levels are different so you don't know what to expect sort of like the original offline diablo games I used to play. Good idea.

here is the webby for it

Looks quite a lot like D2, even though I did love D2 (10 years ago) I probably won't be doing anything on path of exile.

But maybe you find a possibility to support this game with auto spell's/potions etc. Not primary a farming bot. Is this possible to run MM like the RoM- UberFlex AutoCombat System?

making something use skills at timed intervals is easy but getting more info from a game requires a lot of time and effort from who ever is doing it and it is an ongoing time and effort as any time there is a patch the addresses need updating.

So someone would need to commit themselves to doing it, i just don't have the spare time or yet another game.

I've been addicted to this game for some time. No botting though it'd be quite useful. However as this game goes out of it's way to avoid "pay2win" transactions, I don't think they will have any tolerance for commercial botting. Those who advertise will probably get instabanned (heads up).

It's in open beta right now and they have said they are not doing another pwipe. I wasn't able to attach to the proccess using olly or find any handles using winspy so I gave up on the projects I was planning for it. If you find a way around the internal defenses of the game, please post.

Edit: Forgot to give info about the game. -.-

Ok, so this is like D2 but with better graphics and a very different gameplay. First off there are set servers with gateways around the world. Use the gateway closest to you but the server you join will be dependant on which leauge you make your character in. There's
Hardcore and Default (default being softcore). If you die in Hardcore league your character goes to Default leage, but your account stash that you've accumulated stays in hardcore...

The currency system is made to be like real life. Currency are consumable items that you can use to upgrade and modify armor/weapons. You can either use the currency to get some decent gear for the moment or trade it for items.
http://www.poeex.info/

Usuable skills aren't learned in the traditional sense. You have sockets in your armor and weapons that can have "skill gems" and "support gems" attached to them. If the two sockets are linked, and the support gem works for the skill gem, you can equip the support gem to enhance the skill that the skill gem gives you. Further you level up the gems by earning exp while they are equipped. They don't just instantly adjust to your level, you have to level up to your level.
http://en.pathofexilewiki.com/wiki/Skill_Gems#Gems

There is also a massive passive skill tree that you use to customize your character by using the 1 skill point per level you gain. You can also gain some passive points by doing certain quests but the bulk are from levels. This has been likened by many players to a final fantasy like skill tree.

I played the game too the last few days.

What Mister Master didn't said:

The levels/dungeons are at least 30-40% bigger than in D2 normal mode.
They are very much like in nightmare mode form the size.

The difficult level is at first very like in d2 but the gamer became crazy difficult for my at the time I progress onward.
The reason is may I choose a witch(fire+ Zombie + totem/ def energy+ armour->Chain) and I'm not very good at it but I'm sure the game became harder than d2.(I couldn't play sorceress in d2 either)

I played until the main boss in act 3 which is on a tower and the last waypoint is about 4 zones away. The problem with him was my pc has very low fps on that tower and he has about 5 mini-boss and a lot of elite as guard. I used up about 40 portal scrolls to "kill" him but after I killed him he ascended and I couldn't continue the fight.

I may play it again with a different type of char but It will be difficult to send supply to my old char if I choose to continue because this game has no mailbox or AH which is really annoying.(so only option I see make a new AC)

no, you can trade with every player face2face, you need to open 2 Windows or run vr-machine then you can meet your char by invite him in a party and you will see him on the map, then trade :-)

That was exactly what I meant ^^
I wished their were at least an AC chest or something similar.
EDIT:Ups their is the main chest is global for whole AC

From a game designer/software engineer view it is a very simple game I wished I had more experience in making games, making a similar but better game would be easy.
