Re: MicroMacro HTTPD mini-server library; adding web-GUI to your scripts

Ah, yeah. I failed to rebuild the x64 binary on that package. Because of that it's outdated. But because there's been so many bug fixes and such, I've decided to increment the version number and re-uploaded the 1.94 packages. Try that.

Re: player direction

I think I would probably go with the first option, as it seems to represent a unit vector more easily, which you can then convert to an angle (in radians) using sine & cosine, as we did in RoM.

Re: MicroMacro HTTPD mini-server library; adding web-GUI to your scripts

Should have been in for some time. It's in the process module, so filename = process.getModuleFilename(procHandle) The process handle should, of course, be obtained by calling process.open(). local windowId = window.find("Untitled - Notepad"); local procId = process.findByWindow(windowId); local pro...

Seems like one of the keys you've set in your settings is invalid, but that's my first guess.

What's on line 307 of that file for you? Have you made any modifications?

MicroMacro HTTPD mini-server library; adding web-GUI to your scripts

Today, I'm releasing what I've got in place of the new HTTPD library that will come with MicroMacro. Essentially, it allows you to run a small (yet powerful) web-server right in your script with only a few lines of code. The purpose of it is to allow a simple interface for interacting with your scri...

Re: MM2 reading files

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to fix that after work. And one of these days I need to post here about the new library I've got going and/or maybe do a short video demo (it's super exciting, I promise! I just haven't had time nor the energy to finish it). I don't believe there's any way to ...

Re: how to hold multiple keys at once

Does it catch the shift and the enter by themselves, yet fail to see them in combination? Or does it just not see enter at all?

Re: how to hold multiple keys at once

I believe that depends on the specific way that application tries to read inputs. I'd try using the virtual methods instead. This jams the synthetic keypresses into the target application's input queue.

Re: OpenCV and MicroMacro

The shutdown issue should be fixed in one of my latest commits. Since then I've not had any issue with it, and in fact have been working on a neat little side project that I'll discuss more soon.

Yep. Sounds about right to me, too. I also recommend Olly, but expect to spend a few hours learning how to use it.

Re: How to find the pointer that's points to different address with different offsets

Unfortunately there's no simple answer. You would need more details from your friend on how he originally found those addresses and offsets. Most likely (based on what little information I'm seeing here), it required a bit of reverse engineering and tinkering with the game's code rather than simply ...

Re: "Attempt to call limit" - Crash

Ah. I misunderstood. The the issue is that when you've reached your maximum physical memory limit, the game client itself can become unstable and crash. Unfortunately, that's not something we can fix as it is a flaw (sounds like an unhandled exception on alloc() failure) within the game's code. The ...

Re: "Attempt to call limit" - Crash

Can you provide an exact copy of the error message? Preferably with stack traceback. If this is indeed some sort of stack limit, it is likely to be very difficult to track those down. The RoM bot code is a bit of a jumbled mess and would essentially need to be rewritten from scratch to ensure proper...

Re: findPatternInProcess <<null>>

As I haven't worked directly on the RoM scripts in so long, I don't actually know how ingrained the addon is to the scripts. It should still be possible to just completely cut that part out and continue on, though that would limit what you can do with the bot (without a ton of work). Or, of course, ...

Re: Arcadia RoM implemented Antihack system - prevent to run 3rd party software (like micromacro, romeo).

Nah, they aren't doing anything sophisticated here. It wouldn't take much to get around their changes. I do, however, need someone capable of filling Lisa's spot: someone that can reverse engineer all the necessary stuff and is able to implement changes as directed. We just simply don't have the tim...

Re: Arcadia RoM implemented Antihack system - prevent to run 3rd party software (like micromacro, romeo).

Fairly easily: they could (and it would seem they are doing this) just read information out of the Lua state within the game client, such as to detect the addon. We already had created something to avoid that whole issue, but as Lisa and I have much other things occupying our lives we are not really...
