Hi,

full message is:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>
MicroMacro v1.9.20
...
Failed to initialize ALUT. Error code 40964.
One or more modules failed to load.
<<<<<<<<<<

i get this error when i start MM2 exe in remote windows session (RDP). No params, just start.

Version is the MM2 linked in this post http://www.solarstrike.net/phpBB3/viewt ... =38&t=5849.
If i start MM2 on same pc/windows_profile via local session, it works.

Any hint what i can try to solve ?

thnx in advance
Micke

Hmm. That is weird. I'm not even sure where to begin with that one. Can you give me more information about your setup so I could maybe attempt to duplicate it?

no idea too ...

windows 7 pro,
the windows account is member of admingroup.
started the exe also "with admin rights".
cause the difference is the RDP session, i tried very high and very low bandwith settings - no influence.
missing dll we can also exclude, cause same PC/Account.

mhmm, strange ....

Hi admin,

i found that logged even as admin remote to windows, system reduces ressources allocation in RDP sessions, in comparison to local session, but even with "mstsc /admin" (which shell avoid this) the error is thrown.

mhmm ...

OK, I was able to reproduce it. I think it might have to do with the sound device temporarily becoming unavailable while using the remote session. The problem is that it seems to be a problem within OpenAL/ALUT and might not be so easy to fix.

aaaaaah .... solved, that was the problem - i disabled sound in remote config to reduce traffic. now enabled .... and et voila .... works.

thnx !!! now i can shutdown the home pc, and let the cloud run the idle sript :-)
