Sometimes the bot won't target the mob
Once in awhile my character won't target a mob and will run right by it. Any ideas what I can look for?

Re: Is there a way to skip a target if it's xx away from waypoin
I am still having issues with the proposed fix. I have modified the script as mentioned but the bot will still move in closer to attack. The reason I am having this issue to begin with is if you have your waypoints close to a hillside and a mob is close by, the bot may go down the hill with no means...

What is wrong with my waypoint reversal?
Once it gets to waypoint 163 it goes right back to waypoint 1 <waypoints> <!-- # 1 --><waypoint x="-7281" z="2276">player:harvest();</waypoint> --removed waypoints 2-159 to shorten post length-- <!-- #160 --><waypoint x="-1924" z="9998"></waypoint> <!-- #161 -...

I use waypoints so Wander Radius isn't used. I also have Waypoint Deviation set to 0.

That won't work. It will just keep creeping up closer to the target till it's within range.

Is there a way to skip a target if it's xx away from waypoin
I was wondering if there was a way to skip a target because it is too far from the waypoint pathing? It would be nice to have the option of a skipping a target because the combat distance is too far away.

Re: How can I use this for a travel bot?
I made the changes I believe correctly to my waypoint file but, it still wants to run back to #1 when finished. Attached is my waypoint file.

Re: How can I use this for a travel bot?
Works great thank you!
Is there a way that when I type rom/bot.lua it will just run the "Default" Profile and not look for the character that's logged in atm? And lastly, is there a way to not have it loop my waypoints but just stop at the end of the waypoint list?

How can I use this for a travel bot?
Is there something I can change so that I can ignore targets and attacks so that it will just run the waypoints without stopping? I would like a bot to run from the starting area to Varnas for example. I unbound "select nearest target" in the interface but it won't ignore any attacks.

Re: RoM bot
Check classes/player.lua, ~line 336: --self:clearTarget(); Remove the '--' in that line to re-enable target clearing. Although it may still appear that you have something targeted (it doesn't update the UI), it will be cleared. Ok I am trying it now, thanks for the fast reply! I will keep you updat...

Re: RoM bot
The Anti-Gang-Rape coding is working great! I'm still having the issue where the dead corpse stays in my focus after it has been 100% looted and not clearing. This causes me to miss good targets and run right by them. Does the bot acquire new targets via the Tab key?

Re: RoM bot
Here's an experimental change to help prevent you from getting gang raped...Need some people to test it out for me. I tried it. It works good for me, but if I use this, then it doesn't use the target selector (TAB) bind, so only attacks after an aggro mob attacks me (getting in battle). Thanks! I g...

For some reason my bot stopped targeting and stopped looting this morning. I did a complete reinstall of RoM bot and updated the addresses.

Re: RoM bot
I don't use Loot Filter and I loot everything off a corpse. You are correct though by saying the dead corpse is the focus and it doesn't clear.

Re: RoM bot
When running RoMbot it usually never clears the dead target until the corpse disappears. This causes a lot of deaths for me. Is there something I can check to eliminate this? Also, sometimes it tries to loot before the target is actually dead causing me to run up to the target.
